Merit Award at the San Angelo National Ceramic Competition
I am excited and honored to be recognized among so many talented ceramic artists with a merit award. The collection of work assembled for this year's competition was eclectic and inspiring. Thanks to the San Angelo Museum of Fine Art for putting on the show and to Garth Clark and Mark Del Vecchio who's writings I admire.
The kiln is still in progress! With the unusually warm weather in Minnesota this winter, I will resume construction soon. I will continue to post as I continue its construction. Since this picture was taken, the walls have gone up...
19th San Angelo National Ceramic Competition
I was recently accepted into the 19th San Angelo National Ceramic Competition juried by juried by Garth Clark and Mark Del Vecchio. The show will have an opening reception on April 20th and be open to the public from April 20th to June 24th, 2012: http://www.samfa.org/ncc.htm
